County perks should mean $466M investment, 2,100 jobs
The Alamance County Board of Commissioners approved two sets of economic incentives for companies to bring in millions in new capital and hundreds of jobs.
The most recent agreements join others with a number of companies over the past few years that have received or will receive nearly $8 million in government funding meant to bring in more than 2,100 jobs and $466.53 million in new capital.

Democrats select Kendal McBroom to run for vacant county commissioner seat
Alamance County Democrats selected a candidate to run for a vacant two-year term county commissioner seat Saturday morning at the party’s convention.
Of the three Democrats seeking to run for the position most recently held by Republican Dan Ingle, Kendal McBroom was selected to be placed on the ballot in November.
